Do not underestimate the Series 24 Exam! This principal-level exam is challenging, consisting primarily of scenario-based questions that test a candidate’s ability to retain and apply the relevant rules and regulations. FINRA knows that Series 24 candidates are experienced industry professionals. Therefore, candidates should expect nuanced and demanding questions, many of which require analysis of a scenario based on a specific rule or regulation. The questions can be detailed and nuanced, requiring subtle judgment calls. While gaining the Series 24 credential opens doors to greater responsibilities, more supervisory opportunities, and increased compensation, a key challenge for many candidates is that they are pressed for time.
