The SIE exam will be a required licensing credential for all new hires going into financial services in 2018.  Students will be able to take the SIE Exam without sponsorship by a member firm – a first for regulatory exams. As a result, college students who are applying for jobs in finance may elect to take this exam to differentiate themselves and strengthen their application.
